ESU 53956 18-pin Next-18 Socket to RCN-114 MTC14 Adapter Board

This is a ESU 53956 Adapter Board, 18-pin Next-18 Socket to RCN-114 MTC14, Flex. Using this adapter board with the dimensions 13.5mm x 8.4mm, Minitrix locomotives with MTC14 interface can finally be equipped with a LokSound decoder at your own discretion: The adapter board is flexible and is plugged directly into the 14MTC socket of the locomotive, on the other side you can use any decoder with Next18, preferably of course the LokSound 5 Nano Next 18. Additional solder pads for speakers and PowerPack are provided as well. Before installation, please check the available space in the locomotive and in particular whether the locomotive housing can still be closed: The ?sandwich? of adapter board and LokSound decoder is somewhat thicker than specified in the VHDM standard RCN-114. ESU cannot guarantee that the conversion will work in all affected locomotives.
