LGB 2080S G Scale 2-6-2 Powered Tank Steam Locomotive w/Sound #99 6001 EX/Box
This is a LGB 2080S G Scale 2-6-2 Powered Tank Steam Locomotive w/Sound #99 6001. Features include: plastic construction with a motor, metal side rods, operating lights, smoke unit, conductor figure, bell, sound, plastic latch couplers and metal wheels.
Brought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. The North American model soon became known as the "Prairie" model and would quickly become a favorite in rail-yards around the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are a few light scratches & signs of handling along the body. The wheels show average signs of wear. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. The box has some edge wear, light creases and small tears. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
