Lionel 175 Vintage O Operating Rocket Launcher Platform VG

Here is a Lionel 175 Vintage O Operating Rocket Launcher Platform. This was a very exciting Military and Space accessory. When the Fire button is pressed on the controller, the rocket fires off. The controller also has a countdown lever and dial, and a button to control the gantry. The base measures approximately 11 inches in length x 9 3/4 inches in width. It is approximately 15 1/4 inches in height.

Many of the trim parts or details are damaged, detached, or missing. There is tape and residue along some of the instruments. The platforms are scratched and marked, but the overall appearance may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is included.
