Lionel 1835E Vintage Standard Gauge Steam Locomotive with 1835W Tender VG
Here is a Lionel 1835E Standard Gauge Steam Locomotive. This powered steam locomotive features a motor, reverse unit, an operating headlight, firebox glow, tinplate boiler and cab, and metal wheels. The tender features die cast construction, stamped metal trucks, journal boxes, combination coupler, whistle, metal wheels and axles. Please see my pictures for additional features.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive and tender appear to have been run, and display overall signs of previous use. There are nicks and scratches on the shell and chassis of this item. There are various spots of paint loss throughout the shell and chassis of the items. There appears to be specks of rust on the drive rods. There is a broken trim piece on the top of the boiler front that causes the boiler front to come down. The wheels show signs of moderate run-time. The original paint is in great shape, and the unit displays excellent overall finish. The instruction manual is not included.
