Lionel 2037 Vintage O 2-6-4 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive

This is a Lionel 2037 Vintage O 2-6-4 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive from 1954-55. The 2037 was one of the smaller Lionel postwar steam engines with smoke and magnetraction and was used in several sets in the 50s and early 60s. Features include die-cast metal construction, a die-cast boiler, a decorative bell, magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight and a 3 position reverse unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and nice molded-in detail. It does not include a tender.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are many nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. The coupler in the backside is missing. The wheels show average run-time. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Good.
