Lionel 2056 Vintage O 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive & 2671W Tender VG

This is a Lionel 2056 Die-Cast 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive from 1952. This is a Korean War hybrid using a Berkshire boiler casting on a Hudson wheel arrangement. Features include a 3-position E-unit, an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. A 2671W Tender is included and features a plastic shell, metal frame, whistle, plastic sided trucks, operating rear knuckle coupler, metal wheels and axles. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on surfaces of both the locomotive and tender. Additionally, paint throughout their surfaces shows paint wear, chipping, and lettering is lightly discolored due to aging. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. When tested, the locomotive runs well in both directions, light works. However tender whistle does not function. These items have not been tested and are being sold As-Is. The instruction manuals and original boxes are not included with these items. Check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
