Here is a Lionel 226E Vintage O Prewar 2-6-4 Steam Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender from 1938-42. The 226E was one of Lionel's top of the line engines in the late Prewar era and many of the tools used to make the 226 were used as the starting point for the Postwar Era 726/736 Berkshires. This powered steam locomotive features a powerful motor, reverse unit, lights, full die-cast construction, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item did not function when tested, and is being sold as-is. The tender shows some solder markings on the pick-ups. The tender's step pieces are loose and move freely. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
