This is a Lionel 2291W 2379P/C AB Super Freight Train Set from 1957. Included is a powered A unit, a B unit, a caboose, a boxcar, an animated gondola car, an operating generator car with telephone pole/searchlight, and an operating barrel car. The powered A unit features a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight and an operating horn. The freight cars feature die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. The 3444 Gondola car has paint chips on the figures. The road name stickers on the Caboose are partially damaged. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original boxes are included. The instruction manual is included.
