Lionel 2461 Vintage O Postwar Die-cast Flatcar w/ Red Transformer VG/Box

Here is a Lionel 2461 Die-cast Flatcar with a Red Transformer from 1948. This postwar flatcar features depressed center, die-cast metal frame, two electromagnetic coil couplers, die-cast metal trucks, and a transformer. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, scrapes, and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the wheel sets. Several of the detail pieces on the transformer have broken off. The brake wheels are ill fitting and move easily. There is brown residue on this item. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
