Lionel 250E Vintage O Prewar Hiawatha Steam Locomotive & Passenger Car Set VG

Here is a really great Lionel 250E Vintage O Prewar Hiawatha Steam Locomotive & Passenger Train Car Set from 1936. This was the top-of-the-line train for 1935 and 1937. It is pulled by a 250E 4-4-2 Streamlined Atlantic Steam Locomotive with a 12-Wheel Tender. There is a 13 1/4" long 782 Combine car, a 13 1/4" long 783 Coach and a 16" long 784 Observation car, and an 81/2" Tender. The set is articulated with wheeled vestibules joining the cars. The cars have frosted celluloid windows and vestibule latches.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive has damage on the front truck and has the piece detached. The tender's whistle is non-functional. The tender is missing center rail pick-ups. The locomotive and cars show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive and cars show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
