This is a Lionel 265E Vintage O Prewar LL Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive w/Tender from 1935-40. The locomotive features all tinplate construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a decorative smoke unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features all tinplate construction, a solenoid coupler, tinplate trucks with black journals, an operating whistle, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The tender's grab-iron pieces are loose and bent. The locomotive and tender show heavy rusting on the shell. The locomotive and tender show heavy scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. The locomotive and tender show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. There is a large discolored area on the side of the locomotive. The instruction manual is not included.
