Lionel 3459 Vintage O Lionel Lines Silver Operating Ore Dump Car - 1946 - RARE VG

Here is a Lionel 3459 Vintage O Lionel Lines Silver Operating Ore Dump Car RARE from 1946. The bins of the first 3459s were unpainted aluminum as this one is (and quite hard-to-find), but this soon gave way to the more common black color. When activated by remote control by a UCS track (Not included), the bin tilts up and the coal load dumps out into your 97, 397, or 497 coal loader, or a dump bin. This dump car features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This car shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This car shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
