Lionel 3510 Vintage O Red Satellite Launching Car EX

Here is a Lionel 3510 Vintage O Red Satellite Launching Car. This is one of the best operating of the Military/Space cars that Lionel produced throughout the sixties. You wind up the spring loaded launcher mechanism on the car and then set the satellite on it, and manually pull the launch lever and into space it goes! This is the manually launched version, so it will not work remotely with operating track sections. These will actually launch 10 to 15 feet in the air if you wind it tight enough. This car in red was made one year only in 1962 and is much harder to find than the common 3519. It features a plastic body construction, plastic trucks with metal wheels, and operating knuckle couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. There are spots of discoloration on the underside of this item. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
