Lionel 512 Vintage Standard Gauge Prewar Tinplate Green Gondola VG

Here is a Lionel 512 Vintage Standard Gauge Prewar Tinplate Green Gondola from 1927-39. This gondola came first in peacock, then in green. This late green version is harder to find. The early cars came with curved wine-type barrels, later cars came with drum-type barrels. The 512 gondola is extremely common. Features include all tinplate construction, tinplate trucks with journals, latch couplers, metal wheels and axles.
