Lionel 6-22947 Mainline Die-Cast Auto Crossing Gate EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 22947 Die-Cast Auto Crossing Gate and Controller from 1999-00. This item features a die-cast and plastic construction. Place this item at any grade crossing on your model railroad. As the train approaches, red lights glow as the gate comes down automatically to halt traffic. After the train passes, the gate returns to the raised position. The automatic gate crossing uses a 153C contactor which is activated by the weight of the train passing over it. The contactor can be attached to any straight section of track.
