Lionel 6-27206 O Gauge Union Pacific Pullman-Standard 60‘ Boxcar LN/Box

The Union Pacific Pullman Standard 60-foot boxcar was originally designed in the 1960’s to standardize automakers’ options for shipping auto parts loads across the country. In addition to a new boxcar design, their interiors were stripped clean of racks, bins, and other fixtures, and containerized loads were fork-lifted into the boxcar. Lionel offers the newly-tooled Pullman- Standard 60‘ Boxcar in four roadnames for 2008.

These scale-sized Standard O cars are available in single-door and twindoor versions and include a wide variety of accurate, separately applied details. Each car also features customized details to match the actual cars, including distinct ladder types, roof equipment, and brake gear. Features include All-new tooling, Die-cast metal sprung trucks and operating couplers, Hidden uncoupling tabs, Rotating bearing caps, Separately applied metal underframe and body details, Opening doors, Single and twin door versions available, and the Gauge is Standard O.
