Lionel 6-8006 O Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive w/Tender EX

Here is a Lionel 6-8006 O Atlantic Coast Line Silver Shadow 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive w/Tender from 1980. It appeared only in J.C. Penney's Christmas Catalog. It features smoke, Sound of Steam, a die-cast boiler, headlight and operating coupler on the tender. The original display case is not included.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive's boiler railing shows rusting. The tender has thick spots of dirt and dust stuck to the chassis and shell. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
