Here is a Lionel 6-8100 O Gauge Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #611 from 1981. This engine is a reissue of the classic Postwar 746 and is one of the most popular engines in the MPC Era. Its features include a die-cast construction, an open frame motor, Magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, electronic whistle and Sound of Steam, and a great paint scheme. The tender is plastic construction and die-cast 6-wheel trucks.

First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The previous owner has placed a sticker on the bottom of the locomotives shell. The bell and a section on the top of the locomotive are missing. The wheels show a moderate amount of run-time. This item shows scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. There are various spots of discoloration on the chassis and wheel sets. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is not included.
