This is a Lionel 6-9117 O Gauge Alaska Covered Quad Hopper from 1975-76. This car was part of the 1974 Rio Grande Service Station Special Set, and was later available separately as well. This car features 12 roof hatches that raise and lower, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.
