Lionel 6-9224 O Gauge REA Churchill Downs Operating Horse Car Set EX/Box

This is a Lionel 6-9224 Churchill Downs Operating Horse Car Set. This neat accessory is re-release of the postwar 3356 operating horse car set. When activated, the doors on the car swing down and the car and platform vibrate, causing the horses to move around the coral and in and out of the car. It is a really neat accessory. The set includes the car, coral, horses, the OTC track trip and the control button. This horse car features sliding doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The wires to connect the horse set are missing. The wheels show average run-time. The undercarriage is heavily stained. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Excellent.
