Here is a Lionel 6-9824 O Gauge New York Central Gondola #9824 with Coal Load from 1975. This car is from the original "Standard O" series (scale-length cars that run on regular Lionel track). When introduced, Lionel did not make an engine to match these cars, so sales of the original Standard O cars were pretty slow. Thus, they are a bit harder to find than most MPC-era freight cars. This car features die cast sprung trucks, sliding doors and operating couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of very light previous use.
