Lionel 6017-50 Vintage O USMC Blue Caboose VG

Here is a Lionel 6017-50 Vintage O USMC Blue Caboose from 1958. The 6017-50 United States Marine caboose is another one-year-only caboose manufactured by Lionel in the postwar era. Like other single-year items, the 6017-50 caboose has become hard to find, especially in collectable condition. The 6017-50 U.S. Marine Corps caboose is unusual in that it is one of a few 6017 cabooses where the entire stock number is printed on the sides. This caboose features plastic trucks, an operating knuckle coupler and metal wheels and axles. It is not lighted.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis.
