Lionel 6468-25 Vintage O New Haven Auto Boxcar - Rare White over Black VG

This is a Lionel 6468-25 New Haven Auto Transport Boxcar from 1956-58. This boxcar is a model of the boxcars used to transport new automobiles until the specialized auto carrrier cars were developed in the 1960s. This boxcar features sliding doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. This car is the Rare White N over Black H version. Almost all of these were produced with a Black N and a white H.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The sliding door guides have rust and there are faint scratches along the shell. The underframe has light markings and the wheelsets show signs of wear. The instruction manual and original box are not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
