Lionel 6476-135 Vintage O Yellow Lehigh Valley 2-Bay Hopper EX/Box

This is a Lionel 6476-135 Lehigh Valley 2-Bay Hopper from 1970. The 6476 was a continuation of the 6456 short hopper. The 6476 reflected several manufacturing changes, most of which permitted Lionel to reduce the production time and effort in making a short hopper. Unfortunately, most of these changes resulted in an inferior product when compared to the earlier 6456 hopper. This hopper features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. This items overall appearance could be improved with a light dusting or a light wipe down. The wheels show average run-time. The original box is included.
