Lionel 671 Vintage O 6-8-6 Die-Cast Steam Turbine Locomotive -Repainted

This is a Lionel 671 6-8-6 Die-Cast Steam Turbine Locomotive from 1946-49. This classic features die-cast metal construction, a worm drive motor, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, a 3 position forward-neutral-reverse E-unit, metal side rods and metal wheels. The 671 was a mainstay of Lionel‘s line in the late 1940s. This engine has the smoke-bulb type smoke unit. A tender is not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-2: Fair based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, scrapes, and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item shows rust on the axles and screws. This item has been repainted by the previous owner. The rails on this item are bent. The decal on the front is faded and chipped. This item did not run when tested so its being sold as is.
