Lionel 671 Vintage O 6-8-6 Die-Cast Steam Turbine Locomotive VG

This is a Lionel 671 6-8-6 Die-Cast Steam Turbine Locomotive from 1946-49. This classic features die-cast metal construction, a worm drive motor, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, a 3 position forward-neutral-reverse E-unit, metal side rods and metal wheels. The 671 was a mainstay of Lionel‘s line in the late 1940s. This engine has the smoke-bulb type smoke unit. A tender is not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. Some area of the shell have been repainted by the original owner. The sticker on the front of the shell is missing. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The item has been tested but it runs intermittently. The original box is not included.
