Lionel 726 Vintage O Berkshire 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive & 2426W Tender VG

Here is a Lionel 726 Vintage O Berkshire 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive & 2426W Tender from 1946-49. Features include a black painted die-cast shell with silver numbers, full complement of driving hardware, a three-position E-unit, a hinged boiler front, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, an ornamental bell, a decorative whistle, plastic and metal construction, metal trucks, metal knuckle and latch couplers and metal wheels and axles. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are heavy nicks, scratches, and scuffs along the locomotive. There are areas of paint loss throughout the locomotive. The wheels show heavy signs of previous wear. There are also spots of surface rust/tarnishing along the drive rod, wheels and axels. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manuals and original boxes are not included with these items. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. Overall condition is Very Good.
