











Marklin 8827 Z Scale DB Railways Class 41 220 2-8-2 Steam Locomotive & Tender EX/Box
Introduced at the turn of the 20th century, the 2-8-2 was an innovator breaking from the traditional manufacturing of locomotives, and featuring a larger firebox paving the way for greater speeds at a higher rate of power! Before we knew it, the 2-8-2 also known as the "Mikado" found itself in rail yards around the world from the United States to the Congo hauling freight from stop to stop. The Mikado would undergo a temporary name change after the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941 shortly going by the McArthur, before eventually going back to the Mikado name after WW2.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive ahs a burnt motor and is non-functional. The engine is being sold As-Is. These items show some scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. These items are in excellent overall condition, free of broken trim pieces. These items show some signs of light previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information.
