This was part of the MTH Dealer Appreciation Program and features a high performance Pittman motor, operating Proto-Smoke system, die-cast chassis, boiler and tender, constant voltage headlight, two cab figures, die-cast leading, trailing and tender trucks, operating marker lights, operating firebox glow, remote controlled Proto-Coupler, precision ball bearing equipped gear box, operating tender backup light, real coal load, and ProtoSound. It measures approximately 34" x 2 3/4" x 4" (1/4" scale detail and dimensions) and weighs over 18 pounds.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
