The locomotive features a wind-up mechanism with a metal construction and metal wheels. The tender and car have a tinplate construction with metal couplers and wheels.

There are scratches and markings along the shell and underframes. There is rust along the trim parts, screws, and the engine's interior. The included four track sections are tarnished and rusted.
