Broadway Limited 2052 HO Pennsylvania Steam I1sa 2-10-0, 90F82 Tender #4250 VG/Box
This is a Broadway Limited 2052 HO Scale Pennsylvania Paragon2™ Series, Steam I1sa 2-10-0, 90F82 Tender, Powered, Sound/DC/DCC #4250, Original Headlight. Equipped with Sound, DCC, Smoke, 5-pole can motor, precision drive mechanism and Kadee-compatible couplers.
Introduced in the late 19th century, the 2-10-0 was first unveiled in North America for the Lehigh Valley Railroad on the East Coast. The 2-10-0 notation would catch on quickly, and would soon before commissioned in rail-yards all over the world for their versatility, and powered axels making them a powerful locomotive despite drawbacks with the firebox and running at low speeds. These models would run well into the mid-20th century before eventually making their way from a running status to a preservation state. Today a handful of these “Decapods” can be found in museums!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Both the locomotive and tender show loose, broken, or missing railings and grab irons. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. This locomotive is non functional due to bad drive gears and is being sold AS-IS.
