Lionel 3359 Vintage O Operating Twin Bin Dump Car VG/Box

This is a Lionel 3359 Vintage O Operating Twin Bin Dump Car from 1955-58. The car measures approximately 11 inches in length. When activated the bins ratchet up to dump their load into a waiting bin. The bins tip up sequentially; when one goes back down the other one goes up. There is also a locking lever to prevent the bins from tipping while going around the layout. This dump car features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item does not come with coal. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
