Lionel 3359 Vintage O Operating Twin Bin Dump Car VG/Box

This is a Lionel 3359 Vintage O Operating Twin Bin Dump Car from 1955-58. The car measures approximately 11 inches in length. When activated the bins ratchet up to dump their load into a waiting bin. The bins tip up sequentially; when one goes back down the other one goes up. There is also a locking lever to prevent the bins from tipping while going around the layout. This dump car features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Sold As Is. This car does not dump properly. The coal and pan are not included. The metal trim pieces have rust. The wheels show average run-time. There are nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. The original box is included however, the flaps are ripped off on both sides. Overall condition is Very Good.
