Lionel 3472 Vintage O Operating Milk Car with Platform VG/Box

This is the classic Lionel 3472 Operating Milk Car with Platform from 1949-53. This is the early version with metal doors. When activated by a UCS or 6019 track section, the milkman figure pops out and drops a milk can on a platform. The car holds 7 milk cans and with 7 pushes of the unload button you unload those cans. This milk car features opening doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
The milk cans are not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The metal doors on the car are slightly bent out of shape and stay ajar. One coupler is also bent out of shape. There is tape residue on part of the platform base. There are scratches, spots of paint loss and rust on various sections of both the car and platform. The overall appearance of both may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
