Here is a Lionel 3830 Vintage O Flatcar with Operating U.S. Navy Submarine from 1960-63. Yes, the submarine actually will operate underwater! It is rubber band powered. You wind up the nose cone to energize it. This car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the flatcar and submarine. The submarine's propeller has heavy rusting on it. The original black periscope on the sub has been replaced by a custom grey one by the original owner.
