Lionel 6-17685 Jersey Central NE Caboose LN/Box

Originally designed by the Reading Railroad in the 1920‘s, the “northeastern“ style caboose is recognized by its conservative center cupola and rugged, all-steel construction. These cabins were commonly found on railroads throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for many decades. Based on original drawings, the Northeastern Caboose offered by Lionel accurately recreates Reading‘s influential NM class of 32-foot cabooses. This car features Separately applied metal underframe details, smoke unit with ON/OFF control, train crew figure, detailed and painted interior, opening doors, die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
