Here is a Lionel 6-19816 O Gauge Madison Hardware Operating Boxcar. This car features a figure that pops out when it is operated. It also features sliding doors, die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers and metal wheels and axles. This car was made by Lionel for Madison Hardware in 1991. Interestingly this was when Richard Kughn owned both Lionel and Madison Hardware after he had it moved to Detroit. The car was sold at Madison Hardware and through mail order ads. It is fairly scarce and very popular with collectors.
