Here is a 3rd Rail O Brass Great Northern GN S-2 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive - 3-Rail #2558. Features QSI Northern Railsounds and electronic reverse unit similar to Protosounds used on MTH locomotives. Also has a smoke unit, directional lighting and brass construction. Truly amazing detail.
First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4's limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. Some trim pieces have fallen off or have been damaged. The original box is included along with the foam liner. The instruction manual is not included.
